Canstruction puts a visual spotlight on hunger while showcasing the design community's best and brightest. Local area schools and students have the opportunity to participate in this design/build competition sponsored by the Southern Indiana chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Kicking off their third year, Canstruction allows teams that participate to design and build structures from nothing more than canned food and ingenuity. This is an excellent community project for schools, seniors needing a senior project, student councils, art classes, Project Lead The Way courses, PTAs, administrators and others that are interested in supporting the area Tri-State Food Bank.
